Craig Stansfield
Craig is a historical linguist specializing in the reconstruction of protolanguages and what these reconstructions can tell us about human migration and human history when allied with other sources of historical information such as oral history, material culture, archaeology and genetics. He works particularly in Austronesian, the vast language family that includes Polynesian languages such as te reo Māori.
