Wanted: Phanzine Typesetter

PHANZA member Richard Thomson has stepped down from his role as typesetter of Phanzine. The PHANZA committee and Phanzine readers would like to express their immense gratitude to Richard for the dedication, efficiency and skill he has brought to the task over the past ten years.

As a result PHANZA is searching for a new typesetter for Phanzine. This is a voluntary role that requires approximately 6 hours of work to typeset and format Phanzine three times a year (in March, July and November).

The ideal applicant should have the following skills:

– Training as a historian and/or interest in histories of Aotearoa New Zealand
– Knowledge of typesetting and desktop publishing or a willingness to learn
-Interest in editorial matters and ability to pay attention to detail
