Find out how to use newspaper photographs in your research
What photographs from newspapers are held in the Library, and how can you find them?
Many researchers are looking for images from newspapers, either because they featured in them, or to illustrate a particular event.
The Turnbull Library holds large photograph collections for the Evening Post, Dominion, and Free Lance newspapers, as well as smaller collections from the Auckland Star and the Press.
Jenni Chrisstoffels will talk about the extent of these collections, what you can find in them, and how to access the photographs.
