It’s great to get together with fellow historians to share, commiserate, and generally exchange stories and information on wider areas of history and sources of where you might find the information you’re looking for. Auckland-based historians would like a chance to get together and are proposing an evening of general networking: come and join us – especially if you would be interested in hosting or organising an opportunity for more regular involvement in historical matters.
Our first proposed meeting is at Hazel Petrie’s house:
16 August, 6pm
Address: 37 Claude Road, Epsom, Auckland 1023
Please bring something to drink and a plate of food to share
Join us for an evening of historical discussion and perhaps even extending these opportunities in the future.
Please contact Hazel at: hazelpetrie99@gmail.com if you would like to come for an indication of numbers.
