Job Opportunity – Urban Walking Festival

The Urban Walking Festival is taking a digital/remote approach to delivering the festival.

While it’s sad that people won’t be able to hang out in person and be guided around spaces it does open up other opportunities, one of which is delving into the Auckland Libraries Oral History archive with the advice of Sue Berman and team and constructing an audio guided experience using all the amazing recordings they have. There is a job opportunity for a person to create the walk.  It is hoped this network has members in it who are skilled at working with oral history, creating engaging experiences and are based in Auckland.

There is budget to support a person to create this walk, ~ $2,500 for all the walk production costs (research, additional scripting and voice recordings, editing).

The exact area and topic focus will be locked down in dialogue with you and the library.
