This is a call for papers for the “Gender in Catastrophic Times” symposium. The online symposium will be hosted by Lilith: A Feminist History Journal editorial collective across the 23rd – 24th of September this year.
The symposium will ask how is gender mediated through and by catastrophe? How has gender contributed to or even caused catastrophe? And how have people reconsidered or reframed gender and gender norms in light of catastrophe?
Lilith is an Australia-based, peer-reviewed feminist history journal produced by a collective of postgraduates and early career researchers. They host a symposium every two years and publish a collection of original research articles and book reviews once a year.
Below is the call for papers for this year’s symposium. Abstracts must be submitted by 30 April 2021. http://www.auswhn.org.au/lilith/lilith-conference/
