2021 History Innovation Fund Fellowship, Auckland University

The School of Humanities: Te Pokapū Aronui Tāngata, Auckland University, invites expressions of interest for the 2021 History Innovation Fund Post Doctoral Research Fellow.

This fellowship offers early career support for an outstanding recent PhD graduate in history, enabling them to undertake research and writing for publication, whilst also providing some teaching experience. The successful applicant will be accommodated within the History discipline and have access to UOA’s library resources.

Applications are encouraged from within New Zealand and from those who are living overseas and would use the Fellowship to return to New Zealand to continue their research careers. Preference will be given to projects connected with Aotearoa New Zealand and /or Māori history.

The Fellowship will run for the 2021 academic year (March 1-November 30) and the Fellow will be remunerated at the University’s Research Fellow 1 rate. Applicants are required to have had their PhD conferred no more than four years before the application closing date. (So conferred on or after 01 January 2016.)
